Home prices down 5.8% in December

SEATTLE — The median selling price of a King County single-family home was $380,000 in December, down 5.8 percent from a year earlier, according to the Northwest Multiple Listing Service.

The median selling price of a condo in the county was $244,000 in December, down 15.5 percent from a year earlier.

Pending sales of single-family homes and condos combined in King County were up 35.1 percent from a year ago, the NWMLS reported.
